Simpozionul Internațional de Geografie ”Peisaje: percepție, cunoaștere, conștientizare și acțiune”, 24-26 iunie 2016, București și Geoagiu-Băi. International Symposium on Geography ”Landscapes: Perception, Knowledge, Awareness and Action”, 24-26 June 2016, Bucharest and Geoagiu-Băi

Facultatea de Matematică, Informatică și Științele Naturii a Universității ”Spiru Haret” din București organizează în perioada 24-26 iunie 2016 cea de-a opta ediție a Simpozionului Internațional de Geografie ”Peisaje: percepție, cunoaștere, conștientizare și acțiune”. Simpozionul va debuta vineri, 24 iunie 2016, la sediul facultății din București, unde va avea loc sesiunea de postere destinată studenților și masteranzilor, în cursul dimineții. După înregistrarea celorlalți participanți, se va pleca spre Geoagiu-Băi. Ceremonia de deschidere și sesiunea plenară a simpozionului va avea loc seara la Geoagiu-Băi. Lucrările vor continua în aceeași locație și sâmbătă, 25 iunie 2016, seara având loc și o aplicație de teren în apropiere și apoi cina festivă. În ultima zi, duminică, 26 iunie 2016, se va pleca într-o aplicație de teren în sudul Transilvaniei, în drum spre București.
Cei care doresc să participe trebuie să se înscrie online și să urmeze instrucțiunile de pe site, trimițând și un rezumat până în 1 iunie 2016, conform modelului. Taxa de participare în valoare de 625 lei (incluzând și aplicațiile de teren) trebuie achitată până la data de 15 iunie 2016. Valoarea taxei pentru studenții și masteranzii din România este 550 lei, iar pentru doctoranzii români, 585 lei. Detalii sunt disponibile pe pagina web a simpozionului.
The Faculty of Mathematics, Information Technology and Natural Sciences belonging to ”Spiru Haret” University of Bucharest organizes the eighth edition of the International Symposium on Geography ”Landscapes: Perception, Knowledge, Awareness and Action” between the 24th and the 26th of June, 2016. The symposium will start on Friday, 24 June 2016, in the faculty building in Bucharest, where the poster session of the bachelor and master degree students will take place in the morning. After the registration of the other participants, transport to Geoagiu-Băi will be provided. The opening ceremony and the plenary session of the symposium will take place on Friday evening in Geoagiu-Băi. The sessions will continue at the same location on Saturday, 25 June 2016. On Saturday evening there will be a fieldtrip nearby and then the gala dinner. On the last day, 26 June 2016, a fieldtrip will be organized in southern Transylvania, on route to Bucharest.
Those who wish to participate must register online, following the instructions on the site and submit an abstract of their paper until the 1st of June 2016, the latest, according to the template. The registration fee of 300 EURO (fieldtrips included) must be paid by the 15th of June, 2016. The fee for foreign Bachelor and Master Degree students is 150 EURO and for foreign PhD students - 250 EURO. More details are available on the symposium website.
